After the treatment
- Redness and small bumps may occur.
- Avoid exercise, swimming pools, saunas, and shaving on the same day.
- Hair follicles will start to shed within 2-4 weeks.
- Exfoliate the skin 2-3 times a week to aid the process. Wait 5 days after the treatment before you begin exfoliating. This will open the pores and make it easier for the hair to fall out.
- When exposed to direct sunlight, we recommend using SPF 50. To achieve the protection offered by the sunscreen, apply it to the treated area every 2-3 hours for 2 weeks after the treatment.
- Between treatments, hair can be shaved, but avoid waxing, plucking, epilating, and hair removal creams.
- Hair growth cycles may vary, and it is important to remember that hair grows unevenly and in different growth phases. Some hair follicles may be dormant but can become active later. Therefore, it is important to complete the entire course of treatment.
Before the next Treatment
- Shave the treated area the day before or on the day of the treatment.
- Exfoliate the skin a couple of days before the treatment for the best results.
- Avoid self-tanning and spray tans for 2 weeks before the treatment.
- If your skin is sunburned, the treatment must be postponed, but tanned skin can still be treated.
- If you have your period, you can still undergo laser treatment.
Important
Persistent and intense redness that does not subside after a few hours, increasing pain, blisters on the treated area, or swelling that makes the skin warm to the touch are symptoms you should be aware of. Please contact the clinic if you experience any of these symptoms.
After the treatment
Avoid physical exercise, makeup, sauna, and alcohol consumption for 24 hours.
Wait 2 weeks before undergoing other facial treatments in the treated area.
Attend a follow-up appointment after 2 weeks if you need corrections.
Follow the skincare program recommended by your practitioner for the best possible result.
Massage the treated area if your practitioner has instructed you to do so.
Botox: The purpose of Botox is to temporarily paralyze the muscle, resulting in smoother skin and a reduction in lines. The effect develops gradually, usually between 3 and 14 days, so you will not see any immediate change. The duration of the effect varies from person to person and typically lasts for 2 to 4 months.
Filler: Filler is a hyaluronic acid-based product that increases volume, lifts, and smooths out lines. It can be used to restore or enhance volume. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body and helps with moisture and skin elasticity. The result is visible immediately, but it takes 2-3 weeks for swelling to subside and for the filler to settle. Lumps, swelling, and bruising may occur during the first weeks.
Profhilo/Skinbooster: Profhilo and Skinbooster are anti-aging treatments targeting sagging skin. The purpose of these treatments is to hydrate the skin, stimulate collagen production, and improve the skin’s elasticity. They work excellently as a combination treatment with Botox and fillers but can also be done independently to improve the skin’s quality and appearance.
